It's all INJU - Natural energizing tonics at The Circus Hotel

If you are familiar with The Circus philosophy, you know that everything we do has collaboration written all over it. Working with some of the most talented and creative minds brings us immense joy and we wouldn’t be where we are today without this incredible community we’ve built over the years. With a “why change a good thing” approach, today we are honored to announce yet another (local) collaboration with INJU – health enhancing tonics designed to add a touch of vitality to your next Berlin visit.

And if you are a sucker for great love stories like we are, this one is definitely for you! Let us explain. Once upon a time, about 7 years ago, two guests checked in to our hotel. That was the first time we met Luise and Peter. He was busy planning new projects after two decades of producing organic soft drinks, she was working hard to make the world greener. But there they were, and boy were they in love! After a few days of watching them lighten up every corner of our lobby, we waved them goodbye wondering if we’d just witnessed that once-in-a-lifetime kind of love.

7 years later, we are crossing paths again, and this time, there’s more than just romance involved! Yes, they are still as much in love as they were when we first met them, but this time, they brought along something special! And so we met INJU – natural energizing tonics brought to life by Luise and Peter’s unique combination of expertise and a mutual desire to make healthy habits easier, tastier and more environmentally friendly. We volunteered to try an INJU shot (or two), and we liked them so much that today you can find one inside each of our hotel room goody-drawers!

And if you are curious to know what made us do that, here are a couple of reasons that should help:

It really is all in you

The first thing about INJU that caught our attention was their alternative approach to health and energy. Luise and Peter explained that their motto “It’s all in you (inju)” was inspired by their belief in awakening your existing energy and healing processes by helping the cells refresh and revitalize you from the inside. The „no caffeine energy promoting“ part definitely got us curious, and as much as we love coffee, it was so nice to know we could energize ourselves without that one-cup-too-many.

A shot a day keeps the doctor away

Another thing we liked about INJU is their belief that immunity, focus and balance come from within, and all you have to do is activate your own inner healing powers. Shot-sized doses were so easy to bring into our busy daily schedule. Running a hotel usually involves a lot of unpredictably busy days, and knowing we only need a few seconds to support our health is a real dream come true. We later found out that they even get absorbed instantly, and it was really important to us that…

They actually taste good

Being healthy may feel great, but healthy products that also taste good are still a rare bird in the world. We believe health should be enjoyed, not endured, so taste became a big deciding factor for us. What we noticed was that with INJU, there was no bitterness or aftertastes, just refreshing tropical flavors that made us think of palm trees and cocktails with little straw umbrellas. They are good for the planet too

When it comes to sustainability, we try to collaborate with green thinking people whenever possible, so you can imagine how happy we were to hear that Peter and Luise ticked that box as well! All INJU products are developed in an in-house lab (shown the photos above), then produced and bottled on a small scale, to keep in line with core values of minimizing waste and maintaining strict quality control.
