Between breath-taking partner acrobatics and involuntary slapstick, “Surface” is a calm, beautiful and playful performance for the whole family.
On a stage filled with water, four acrobats explore, challenge and fail each other, sometimes carefully, sometimes recklessly, wondering: What happens when they are deprived of the solid ground beneath their feet?
Concentrated, yet with mischievous pleasure, the four acrobats slide over the slippery stage. In search of the balance between control and exuberance, they climb and lean on each other, exploring the limits of the possible in a wonderfully original performance.
Between breathtaking partner acrobatics and unintentional slapstick, “Surface” is a calm, enchanting and playful performance for the whole family that leaves the audience with a big smile and deep satisfaction.
The four of them met and graduated together from ACaPA, the circus school in Tilburg, Netherlands. Since their graduation they have created and toured two shows, have won the circusnext followship and perform with several other companies worldwide. We’ve worked on inviting this amazing quartet since 2018 and are more than happy and proud to finally welcome them to their first performance in Berlin.
