What do we see? What does it mean to be watched? How does being observed change the way we behave?
In Circa’s Peepshow, a team of acrobats challenge our preconceived notions of voyeurism, contact and intimacy.
Combining elements of circus, cabaret and burlesque in a beautifully bizarre hall of mirrors Circa’s Peepshow is inviting, but also enticingly eerie. Fascinating, wonderful and unsettling all at once.
Over two acts, Circa’s Peepshow sees the acrobats flirt with the possible. They bend to the extreme, build swaying towers of balanced bodies and display intricate aerials. Lightly, powerfully and playfully.
