EURO 2024 in Berlin and at The Circus

We love football at The Circus. Since we first opened our doors back in 1997, we’ve welcomed the footballing world for the FIFA Men’s World Cup in 2006, the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2011, and now we are looking forward to EURO 2024 in Berlin. We are looking forward to welcoming fans from across Europe to our hostel, hotel and apartment houses, and wherever the matches during EURO 2024 in Germany are being played, we’ll be getting together to enjoy the action.

With the draw for EURO 2024 on 2 December, excitement is rising – as well as the number of bookings! So if you want to be sure to stay with us during the tournament, book your rooms or your beds early to secure a spot.

EURO 2024 IN BERLIN – WHEN ARE THE GAMES?

We are lucky enough to be hosting six matches in Berlin during EURO 2024. All the games will take place at the famous Olympic Stadium on the following dates:

15 June 2024 – Spain vs. Croatia
21 June 2024 – Group D
25 June 2024 – Netherlands vs. Austria
29 June 2024 – Round of 16
6 July 2024 – Quarter Finals
14 July 2024 – Final

GETTING TO THE OLYMPIC STADIUM FROM THE CIRCUS

All four of The Circus houses are well located for public transport links to the Olympic Stadium. The Circus Hostel, Hotel and Apartment house are all at Rosenthaler Platz. From here it takes 35 minutes to reach the stadium, with tram M1 to Hackescher Markt and then the S9 or S3 to Olympiastadion.

The Circus Living is directly beside S-Bahn Jannowitzbrücke, a 30-minute ride on the S3 or S9 directly to Olympiastadion.

EURO 2024 AT THE CIRCUS

Of course, not everyone can get tickets and there are plenty of games taking place elsewhere in Germany between 14 June and the final on 14 July. We will be showing matches live and there will be other football-related fun and activities during the month of the tournament. In previous years we’ve had special themed events, tipping competitions and more.

EURO 2024 IN BERLIN

Berlin also has some big plans for the tournament. The Brandenburg Gate will be transformed into the world’s largest football goal for the duration of the tournament and will be the location of the fan mile. Here there will be screenings of all the games, concerts, a pop-up park and other activities.

With EURO 2024 taking place at the beginning of summer, the city’s beer gardens will be a great place to catch the action. As the tournament approaches, we’ll be putting together our very own guide to the tournament in the city, so watch this space!
